arenas

You are the moon that tempts my eager tides
Always looking down so closely on me
But kept just beyond my reach
I am pulled by the magnitude of your gravity
my body is water, I become viscous
I am Sapphire under your glow
And you call me from my shores to toy with me
and I search for you risking my life
to be carried away in timeless sea spray
but rough winds are still
when a heart is willing to pay the ultimate price
were my own seas to drown me
And I were to fold in upon myself
It will mean nothing.
A rip tide is minor
